FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. When is a good time to book a trial?

I get asked this question all the time and my answer is simple....when you are ready for one. It is my suggestion to have it done closer to the date of your wedding so you know exactly what it is that you want. Over the seasons different looks and colours always change so what may have looked good to you a year ago, may not be as appealing now. On the day of the trial I like to know things like the colours of the dresses, flowers, jewellery...anything that can help me design a look that matches your colour scheme.

2. What do I need to do on the day of a trial?

  • When we meet for a trial I suggest that you also have your hair trial on the same day so you can really see what you will look like on the day.
  • Its a great idea to have your eyebrows shaped and waxed as the overall look of your makeup is much more effective with beautiful eyebrows.
  • Make sure your skin is in great shape, drink lots of water, keep up your skin regime, dont exfoliate your skin more than twice a week and use a day and night moisturiser.

3. Do you use products for sensitive skin?

The answer is YES! All of the foundations I use are Hypo Allergenic and are completely safe to use on sensitive skin. I use cosmetics that are fragrance free and also have mineral foundations for those that prefer them.

4. How do I secure my booking?

There is a $100 deposit required to secure your date in my diary. This $100 is NOT and extra cost and is taken off the total on the day. If you wish to make a tentative booking, your booking is only held for 4-6 weeks at the most as I get lots of enquiries, so to avoid dissapointment it is advised to pay the deposit as soon as you can.

5. What if I need to cancel or post-pone my wedding date?

If you need to post-pone your wedding and I am infact available for the new date the deposit will be held. If I am not available and I am given more than 3 months notice then the deposit will be refunded.

If you cancel your booking, the $100 deposit is then used as a cancellation fee.

5. What happens if I have a large bridal party?

I have an assistant who is also a qualified makeup artist. This way if you have a large bridal party there is no chance that things will be rushed and you can all enjoy the day and relax.
