ABOUT ME

My name is Jaye Bradley, I'm 29 years old, a mum to two gorgeous little girls and I am the Principal Makeup Artist for Makeup Design by Jaye.

I am passionate about what I do. Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated by how creative and artistic you can be with makeup.

Just over 10 years ago I came across a brand of makeup by the name of Napoleon Perdis, I immediately fell in love....the colours, the selection, the beautifully made up sales consultant. I had to know everything about how to become a makeup artist.

On one of my many trips back to the Napoleon counter I was approached by a Talent Scout for a modelling agency. I was placed on their books and went straight to work.

I worked with some of the best and most talented photographers and makeup artists, even though I was having fun I was much more interested in becoming a makeup artist and working with the models.

One of the makeup artists took me under her wing and taught me everything she knew, before I knew it I was assisting with Fashion Parades and Photo shoots.

The years went by and I was having a ball, hardly call it work at all. The only thing I wanted to achieve was to spread my wings and venture out on my own so I could have the freedom to start a family. I went on to study makeup artistry at Volona Hair and Beauty College.

I immensely enjoy doing what I do and I think it is important to love what you do and enjoy life.
